There’s three groups that the story follows (because the group is all split up). It’s a bit choppy sometimes to flip from all the different groups. Obviously important for their point of view but it was a little wearisome.

Ugh I have SUCH mixed feelings about this! First of all it was SO slow paced and boring, there were so many POVs going on and all most of them did was make out and flirt with each other. I also hate to say this, but I really HATE Clary's POVs here. She just annoyed the fucc outa me. She was just so persistent and stubborn like a dumbass pick me YA protagonist, and she made the DUMBEST DECISIONS EVER. You shouldve just stayed home and listened to your mom 😠 Jace was also so useless in this entire book. All he did was nod and joke around and be a horny teenage boy. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN YOU. YOU WERE MY FAVORITE CHARACTER!! There were just so many scenes that were irrelevant to the plot, and I wish they could've just edited them out. Everyone in this book was just so horny idk why 😭 I cant believe Im saying this but I def enjoyed Simon's POVs more. Who woulda thought?? Sizzy and Malec CARRIED this book. Also, that scene where Sebastian almost raped Clary was just disgusting. Definitely unnecessary, I REALLY wish Cassandra Clare didn't include that.

Oh boy, I cant wait for the final book. Mostly because so I can finally find out the ending. This is the weakest book in the series for me.
