A thought-provoking, raw, authentic collection of character storylines that are elegantly woven together. Bachman does an excellent job choosing Feminist themes and tells the same story from two perspectives based on differences of social status, upbringing, and love of all kinds, across the two hockey towns. Powerful, full characters who make me laugh, cry, and feel deeply.

I look forward to reading over and over again.

The perfect ending to the Beartown series. Funny and moving, it’s a bittersweet last chapter.

why did backman do this to me. this was such a devastating end to the trilogy. similarly to the last one, i do not really like how a ton of new characters were introduced and became part of the forefront. but yet again, Backman did an amazing job on the writing and characters. this made me sob.
