This book is really easy to flip through in terms of everything is near nonsensical to the point that you just keep flipping because what can this author write next. But then we hit 30% of the way through the book and the characters became insufferable for me. It started reading like someone’s attempt to poorly explain slap stick comedy and I just could not do it anymore. There’s a subplot where you can see more depth is TRYING to develop. But the characters day to day was enough that I wasn’t even willing to pursue it.
