Oh noos, where is Parnell Hall? He co-wrote Teddy Fay book 1-4.

Unfortunately, I thought this book was just okay. The story summary sounds a lot better than the story itself. Teddy, ex CIA, film producer goes to Macau when Peter and Ben got themselves in a tight situation.

I enjoyed the beginning, probably because Stone and Dino appear briefly. I didn't care for the rest with Chinese and Russian bad dudes. The casino setting isn't my thing. The audio is 06:15:34 hours and not 8 hours as stated in the blurb.

Denouement was a little too dismissive and tied up too quickly, without much explanation. 1/2 a star boosted for the 3 main women characters. I did enjoy the dynamics between Teddy and two of the women, both Dale Gai and the U.S. agent Millie Martendale. Though I'm disappointed we really don't find much more about Dale Gai in the end than where we started from. Set up for partnership in the future, hopefully that becomes a published reality. I went in for in the mood for finance crime conspiracy thriller and the setting of Macau was appealing. First by this author.
