I have such a soft spot for Lou Sanders ever since seeing her on Taskmaster. She seems so delightfully strange and funny and warm. It might be odd that this book includes a lot of alcoholism and rape/sexual assault but is still so funny. I found the way she discusses trauma with insight and kindness engaging. It has also reminded me to be kinder to myself. This is a unique memoir that I feel only someone like her could pull off.

honesty, some real wisdom, mixed with some real fun nonsense. I love Lou when I hear her on the radio. I admire her even more now. The narration wasn't as sparky and free-flowing as ad lib Lou but it was nice to get to hear that more considered side of her.
Graphic: Sexual content, Alcoholism, and Sexual assault
Moderate: Rape
Minor: Drug use
