I'm not quite sure what I read. I'm sure I liked it, and I'm sure I'm a little confused and need to unpack the story, but this is definitely an intriguing sci fi with a hell of a lot of depth for such a short length.

This was a freebie on Audible...It was interesting and beautifully written. Descriptions and dialogue bordered on art. The concept - of extracting memories- and ethical issues it brings up is definitely interesting. The execution of that story remains...a little flat.

A good listen if you are in the mood for a short, but interesting look into how we would live with extracted memories.

I admired the sparse prose and the ambition of this concept but I didn't quite understand what was going on most of the time. There were a number of male characters who felt interchangeable, and some concepts and jargon like Reprinting just didn't make sense to me.
