I love this series a lot, but I feel this one lacked some good humor. The previous books in the series were funnier :) but still worth reading..

Yay! Why hasn't my brother begged my mom to get this yet???
My brother got this for Christmas (today). I finished it in about half an hour. It was good, exactly what you expect from Jeff Kinney. However, I'm getting a little sick of the poor-me, my-life-sucks-because-I-can't-make-any-money-and-can't-be-popular stories. And seriously, why does Manny get EVERYTHING he wants?? It's just wrong.

Funnier than "The Last Straw", but I'd say this is a concept that has worn itself out.

I did like this one a bit more than the first 4, but not as much as the last one. The teacher in me liked that Greg writes his own newspaper. It also has a small part dealing with bullying that I think is important.
