Finally, the burn.

There's light at the end of the tunnel, but still... Cliffhanger.

This is truly the never ending story. I'm hooked obviously, but I'm worried there will come a time when I'm not.

Very good!

A great climax to an excellent story. Many threads remain, but for now their greatest opponent is at hand. Loved every word.

Another great book in this series. I think that series can't get any better but it does.

Marked by Magic has Sunaya trying to stay out of the way so the Chief Mage can help stop the rebellion, and so she doesn't get killed. She ends up doing things to help out even though it is dangerous. And add in the issues with her the Chief Mage and things are getting interesting.

This book starts out good, and the middle is good, but I felt like towards the ending it starts to get rushed and things sort of come out of nowhere. It was a little annoying, but I liked what happened between the Chief Mage and Sunaya. But I feel like other things were left undone, so I hope that gets addressed in the next book.

I had the opportunity to read an ARC of this book in return for an honest review.
I expected this book to be filled with action, mystery, and magic. I was not disappointed!

I love that we are seeing Sunaya mature into her magic & learning to accept both sides of herself, Mage & Shifter. I cannot wait to see where this leads as she continues to learn & develop all of her abilities.

We are left satisfied that this chapter has come to a close, but with the knowledge that not all questions have been answered & they will be touched on in the future as the story continues. It keeps you intrigued & I cannot wait until the next book comes out, so I am able to delve more into this world that had been created.

Finally some movement with the sloooooooow burn romance, but the long arc is seriously heating up, too. This is a good series and the world is so screwed up that I can see it going longer than the current arc, if the author chooses.

The characters are really very good, as well. This is one of those series that gets better with each book.

Short novel, best to read all chronicles together in one go. More enjoyable since almost all end on cliffys.
