This is the first book to make me cry in quite some time. It’s hard to imagine a book so centered around death and grief to be so vibrantly colorful and comforting, but TJ Klune has done it. While some plot points felt predictable, the book leaves you attached to multiple characters. It’s an easy read that can leave you feeling all kinds of emotions.

always a sucker for a found family! this was really slow in the beginning but picked up nicely. i’m glad i switched to audio.
