I felt like this one really built on the foundation that Lawson laid out in "Good Girl". Jax's character development in this one really brought me around to him. I liked where he and Haley were headed (though some of it seemed a bit quick to me) but that ending! I didn't understand it and I knew it would all be explained in the last book, but ugh. I really felt like it was a big twist that I didn't see coming.

Loved this can't wait to finish the series!

13.07.2021. okay sue me. i wanted to know what happened next in this cringey af series

The second book in the Wicked series and I was on tenterhooks to know what happened next after the wicked cliffhanger the last book left us with.

This was almost as good as the first book (which I absolutely loved). The energy, the chemistry, the writing were all wonderful and I just devoured this book.

The one thing I don’t *love* is the story being split across the three parts, but fortunately I don’t have to wait for anything to come out, so in the end doesn’t have a big effect on me.

But look, Piper Lawson has mad skills, and I am going to get more of her work, because if it’s anything like this, I’m going to be a very happy reader.

Eh. It’s fine. The problem being the good part of the last book was building the character’s personality. We’ve now abandoned their personalities in favor of drama.

Book 2 in the Wicked series picks up where book 1 ends and involves more relationship development, individual character development and sexy times. I literally could not stop listening, Savannah Peachwood and Joe Arden do such a great job! Listening to Joe Arden say my name is also a plus

I use books out of order, but I don't care. This one was really short, and I was able to read all three books in one day. This book picked up right where the first one left off. I love Hayley and Jax together and individually. Their love for music and each other is inspiring, and I love all the side characters, especially Jerry and the skunk.
