This book felt slightly unnecessary until the last little bit of it. I appreciate the last parts the most. I get that it was trying to build some character development but I feel like it went on for a long time. Hopefully the next book is faster paced.
The first book really didn’t do this series justice. Book 2 was better! Finally the world building and found family began that book 1 was missing. Will read the next one.

The first book was painful, but this felt like I was in literally he'll reading this one
idk why I keep reading these b/c nothing happens and like none of the characters are likeable
Really didn’t remember anything from the first one and no context clue really helped me pick up the story. Just didn’t care. Was cringing through a lot of it. I remember liking the first one but 🤷♀️
