I just felt this book was so slow with the progression of the story and it repeated itself alot. I also found some of the plot to be familiar to other books I have read of the same genre. With all this said, it does not change the fact I went on to read the third book and try to figure out how this story will end.

if i have to hear min asterin one more time i will puke !!!this series put me into a two month reading slump attempting to get through them. but hey if a manipulative and abusive male character and a fmc that changes her mind every other chapter is your thing be my guest! the only good thing about this series is the spice and even that is disgusting at times. a woman should never be made to sleep with a man when she is terrified of him or when she is exhausted and just wants to sleep just because he’s her mate and she needs to soothe him
I thought this book might have some redemption for the first book, but I was gravely disappointed. It’s just From Blood and Ash.

I absolutely loved this book! The first book of the flesh & bone series left me a bit suspicious, but this one really hit home. I loved the way how the FMC grew during the book and how she started to make decisions for herself. Gonna jump straight into the third book <3
Yas I’m so into this series I liked the pacing and I do love a book where it’s about a long journey lols but I’m thinking the next one will be v different so I’m excited for that too. None of the characters are ruining me emotionally tho which is what I think this book needs. Like estrella is great but idk if I would die for her u know?
Liked these but there were some issues for me. I felt like there was questionable consent involved between the two main characters. The male main character was frustrating to me as he would often be flippant with the female characters valid questions or concerns. The chemistry felt forced between them. I felt The fantasy elements were confusing and not properly explained. I did like the overall fantasy elements of the mate bond. And also liked the protective nature of the male character. I also liked the character development of the female character and how she grew more empowered. I would also consider re reading in text format instead of listening to the audiobook. The narrators were partially why I did not enjoy these.
