A good sequel to Faebound, excited for book 3 when it comes out!

We return to Yeeran and Lettle as they each follow their own dangerous paths—Yeeran caught up in the threat of war as she heads home, while Lettle seeks the truth behind the ancient curse that continues to hang over their people. Both sisters must face hard choices as their world edges closer to destruction.
I actually enjoyed this one more than Faebound. The worldbuilding felt stronger this time around, with deeper layers of political intrigue, magic, and tension woven through both storylines. I especially liked seeing more of the wider world beyond what we got in the first book, and how the unsettled atmosphere of war kept the stakes high throughout.
That said, the pacing did lag in parts, especially during some of the heavier exposition.
Overall though, a solid continuation of the series—full of magic, conflict, and some really thoughtful exploration of duty, destiny, and what people will risk for the ones they love. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how it all wraps up.

I kind of got lost in the sauce on this one but I still loved that the plot was plotting. I was not expecting any of these "villains" to be who they were from the last story to this one this was quite the ride and honestly im looking forward to doing a reread when the third book in the trilogy is out. Cant wait to see what's happens and if the humans all come back since they seem to have been "hiding" in plain sight...
