The first book was bland. Nothing really happens.

There were too many mates and not enough balance between the POVs. Basically it was Damien >> the others >>>>>>> Kian and Lachlan. If these last two disappeared during the story I wouldn't even have noticed it. Like Thorn was Wren's best friend and she knew him since she was a little girl but he stopped being mentioned for pages and pages at a time. It was ridiculous.

I HATE when deans become mates. Rowan barely showed any interest in Wren before becoming her mate, and weirdly enough, she and the other boys show some feelings before completing the mating, but not Rowan?! Like how does this work?
A lot of things were confusing. And to be fair, the author lost me when the nanobots, bionic science fiction things appeared. Can't believe I'm saying this when I read paranormal, but the super humans crap was ridiculous and made no sense.

Last thing but you can't repeat how humans are weak and then make them these big bad villains who can kill supes. How can humans enter supers territories and just kill? Makes no sense. They're magical people, they can put a protective spell, they have super smell and sight, they're fast, they're stronger but still, humans kill them?! Please.

It also rubbed me the wrong way how dragons wanted to create a super race and were ok to mess with DNA to be able to get rid of all humans... That was unnecessary af.

This series has been such a comfort read for me. Wren and her mates truly love each other and it shows in the writing. This books is a great finale to the series where we see all the characters face there fears and trauma to have a better future together.

I have loved every minute of Wren’s journey. Her metamorphosis from meek, quiet, unsure girl to strong, fierce, bad@ss woman was fantastic. I’ve loved that her mates always stood beside her and supported her in everything, instead of trying to hide her away. Her mates are all so swoon worthy and delicious. There are so many twists and turns in this story, lots of action, LOTS of steam!! It’s a fantastic read and I highly recommend!!

I loved the first 2.

I am so sad. I would never recommend this series. I LOVED the first 2. Gave them 5 stars, which in my case, means I could see me reading again. I stuck through 3, thinking maybe 4 would be better. 3 and 4 could have been 1 book just by removing half the sex in both books. There still would have been too much sex, but I would have still read it. Orgy, orgy, orgy, 3 pages of plot, orgy plot orgy. You get the idea. And I am not a prude. I enjoy sex scenes. Just not to the point that a book can't move forward in the plot due to it.
