I really have no idea if I rated this book correctly. This book made me want to scream and throw the book across the room then call everyone I know to read it so that they can experience the same pain as I’ve endured over the last two days. I’ve really enjoyed Sarah Ready’s writing in the past, but this book was so full of emotion that I’m in awe. The book was also painful. This book could have been named Miscommunication, since that was at the core. It was like Jace and Andi kept barely missing each other, and it was so infuriating, but I just couldn’t look away.

I loved Jace and Andi’s love story. Their first chance at love reminded me a lot of Billy and Camilla in Daisy Jones and the Six if Billy were a better guy. I loved hearing both of their perspectives and Jace is the guy you hope that all famous rock stars truly are.

Without too much spoiling, the second half of the book had me wanting to scream. I was so frustrated, but not in a bad way. If you want epic love story, that’s definitely this book!

I also grew to really like Reid. While I don’t exactly like what ended up happening with him, I appreciate how this book has a lot of different layers as to what love is.

I also loved the audiobook narrators. Andi’s narrator really reflected the hope she had in the first half of the book and I loved the shift in the second half where she sounded more aged and wary. I thought that the Jace narrator sounded like someone who had lived a hard life but was making it through.

Also, this book needs so many content warnings…

Thank you to NetGalley, W.W. Crown, and Sarah Ready for providing me access to this book.

What I liked:
• The two opposite worlds colliding.
• The very different, but emotional back stories of Jace and Andi.
• The range of emotions packed into the story and felt as a reader.
• The writing - it was unpredictable with a few twists, but clever in places too.

Wow! I don’t even think I can put into words how much I adored this book. I first discovered Sarah Ready when I was accepted as and arc reader for French Holiday earlier this year and this book confirmed, I am a HUGE fan!

The emotions packed into this story were so powerful with a storyline that gripped me from start to finish. I thought this was going to be a nice, cute romance, but it was so much more! I was sobbing, laughing, grinning and everything in between.

The plot and characters were all incredible and have definitely left a big lasting impression on me. The depth and development of the characters was gorgeous to read. I truly felt a part of this story.

The meeting between Jace and Andi would come under the insta-love trope and if you know me, I’m not a fan of that, however I adored this book so it was very easy to overlook, especially as the connection was built quick but strong between them.

There’s definitely some sensitive topics covered (some brief, some detailed) and so I would advise reading the trigger warnings beforehand.

I could talk about so many points and aspects of The Space Between, but don’t want to give anything away so I will leave it by saying that I would read this book a thousand times over. I can’t wait for release day to buy a copy!

Thank you Netgalley, Sarah Ready and @socialbutterflypr for accepting me as an arc reader in exchange for an honest review.
