𝑽𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔𝒍𝒚 - 𝑴𝒆𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒏 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒆

This was a very cute sports romance. It’s a book that captivates your attention from the beginning but needs more drama. I enjoyed it, but I was hoping for a little more action so that the story wouldn’t get too repetitive.

I liked Campbell, for once the main male character was not a stupid hockey player that turned good after meeting the girl. I also liked Hazel, but, I wish she had a bit more personality besides the ‘loves reading books and is shy’. I wish she would stand up for herself more and stop crying every time something happens.

Neveah is like the worst best friend of all time. She is more of an enemy than a friend and I hoped they would become friends once again in the end. The book needed more drama… The couple was happy for most of the book and although I usually like that there was no background drama to make it more interesting.

The epilogue was a plot twist I was not expecting. Did I like it? Not very much. But it definitely surprises us and makes our chins drop.

Overall it’s an ok book. It has some very cute moments but don’t expect much drama. It’s great to relax and read during the weekend.

This book.
I don’t know what to say about this book.
It was soo good.
It was fast which left me wanting more !
I’m not one for spoilers but that END. THAT END LET ME TELL YOU. I had my suspicions during the book and when I got to the end I was still floored ! And that EPILOGUE! Wheeww I need more.

This was SUCH an adorable book. I have a soft spot for hockey romances and this has definitely made the top of my favorites list. Loved the chemistry between the two of them and Campbell is literally a dream. So thankful I received an ARC copy.

Okay, I don’t usually say this but I was forcing myself to finish this book. And it sucks, because usually this type of book is my all time favourite to read. But something about this one had me pulling teeth to continue it - so much that I stopped halfway to read The Mistake for a reminder as to why I love reading.

I felt like I was reading a Wattpad story, and don’t get me wrong, some were amazing! (Yes, I read After but have you read the Mogul???) I thought it was going to be a quick read, the beginning was cute but then it literally just… dwindled on and on in a way that wasn’t fun to be part of.

I also just didn’t like the fact that two young college kids were having unprotected sex and faced no consequences of it. Like wrap it up buddy boy, you’re a college hockey player you can’t afford a child.

Anyways, it was like a fun read if you’re trying to get into reading I guess, but after reading some other books in the hockey romance genre, this one just didn’t live up to the hype. I even think I found it on Tik Tok, and I hate to say it but it was the first BookTok recommendations that I regretted following through on.

I was absolutely FLOORED by the epilogue.

My sister had been begging me to read this book for a little over a month and I finally decided to pick it up. Needless to say, I enjoyed it and of course fell in love with Campbell and the way he loved Hazel.

After reading the epilogue I wished there was more but overall recommend reading this book!
