I can’t even speak! I knew what was coming and am still recovering from being hit by a truck… this is entoxicating. I wanted to give myself time to think but I feel I need to speak! This book is sad, tense, emotional, and the betrayal has my heart splayed open. Kitt doing what he did baffles me like Kai loves her and the ring the solution? My rating is so hard because I feel betrayed but the 5 star vibes are all there

I also felt like I was drowning in tropes.
Pretty sure I read the same scenario every 20 pages it was so repetitive and dull. I enjoy the banter between Pae and Kai but not when it doesn’t move the story along.
Annoyingly though Roberts knows how to execute a cliffhanger so now have to painfully wait a year to see what happens next.
I also felt like I was drowning in tropes.

Generalmente las segundas partes no son buenas, pero esta es la excepción. Superó bastante a Powerless y superó mis expectativas. Aunque la trama no tiene mucho desarrolo, me gustó que la autora se tomó todo el libro para enfocarse en la relación entre Kai y Paedyn (amo a esta pareja). Lo negativo fue que se volvió repetitiva y poco creíble que en tantas noches que pasaron juntos los protagonistas no hubieran tenido sexo. Grité con el plot twist al final y al leer la última oración quedé con ganas de más.
