It’s a terrible book. Very Whiney and angsty

I have rarely disliked main characters like this before. I didn’t even want them to end up together. They kept getting themselves in absurd situations and the push and pull of their love hate was so frustrating and repetitive

She sacrificed pages of her fathers journal to start a fire only to learn later that there were empty pages at the back

ya know I just knew that was how it was going to end but I still did scream at reading the last line in the chapter.

Pretty mid most of the way through, without very many major plot points. It felt like a typical mid-series book. I expected the ending but not the characters involved, so that makes me really excited for book 3.
