The build up to the Skypeia Arc continues with the crew meeting with another dreamer - the descendant of the legendary liar Nolan Mont Blanc. Sure that his ancestor was not lying about the gold hidden on the island, Cricket Mont Blanc is diving around determined to find it before he dies. I loved the inclusion of the tale of Nolan the Liar as it’s great world-building to have so many tales.
Cricket is able to advise the crew on how to get to Sky Island and also helps them fix the Going Merry but of course that pesky Bellamy gets in the way!
We move away from Luffy and the crew to see more of the politics of the Pirate/Marine world and its great to see Shanks and Ace in this volume.
We finish with the exciting promise of arriving at Sky island (somehow?!)
I am very much enjoying this series again!

Volume 25 covers chapters 227 through 236. Compared to the last volume, there are some pretty epic moments contained in this volume. Luffy finally faces off against Bellamy, and we see what a 100 million berry bounty can really do. Then we're introduced to Kuma, Doflamingo, and the five elders, as well as reacquainted with Buggy, Ace, and Shanks. And we can't forget the introduction of Whitebeard. Oh, and Blackbeard's crew? And the knock up stream? Each chapter in this volume is another knock out punch that just delivers on so many levels. Definitely a good one.

Fun as always and I love how Monkey D. Luffy got the gold back to that guy. Yet as of that was not hype enough they brought back Ace for a moment and Shanks too. Then all of out being tipped of by the ship flying and I cannot wait until they get to the Sky Island!

Guess what, another favourite of mine! This volume focuses on the background building, of Sky Island!!!!! Oh my god, my fav arc! Let's start with Jaya, the lawless island, and Bellamy who plays a big role after this, ahahaha, I really hate him and his crew in this volume! They are in a way very realistic but laughing at people's dream is just pathetic and irritating! Serves him good, with just a punch from Luffy, that changed him later on... In this volume too, all the legendary pirates, like Whitebeard, Shanks, Hawkeye, Doflamingo and Kuma kept popping out, even Sengoku, the general of Marine, but surprisingly, the one part that struck me the most is when Going Merry (strawhat's ship) flew to the sky! Yes! Flying, with the help of Criket-san, a famous 'liar' or more like explorer's descendant, and I admired his determination and loyalty! He's just awesome! And Nami! She is just fabulous here, 'who's the navigator of this ship?' you of course! One of the best!!!! 5 stars!
