A good read with with lovable characters and a magical journey. I liked the previous book better, but this was still a nice audiobook to unwind with. In all fairness, I maybe could have liked this book more  while reading it at another time, but I was listening to it before bed and the narrator’s voice kept sending me to sleep, so I struggled to get sucked in.

Enjoyable, some good lines, I really like getting to see Ged through others eyes.

This is a well written imaginative story but alas it just didn't capture my full interest. The Earthsea series continues with a grand quest by the same character that was rescued from the tombs of Atuan in book 2. Until the last third of the book when the ever present good vs. evil conflict comes to a dramatic conclusion the story was just an average story of fantasy. I wonder if I tried reading at another time of year or right after book 2 would I have reacted differently? I would recommend this book to any lover of fantasy and especially those fans of the Earthsea series.
