I LOVED this book. As I've said before, I'm not too fond of multiple POV books, but it was excellently done. The characters' heartbreak and perseverance made them real and left me feeling like I'd been a part of the treasure hunt. I recommend and will reread it at some point in the future.

I don’t always love books that jump time lines between the past and the present with multiple character point of views but I thought those devices were used creatively and effectively in this book. I loved how the characters stories intertwined despite living centuries apart. The story starts off a little slow but once the pace picked up towards the middle I could not put it down. I loved the ending.
