Very intriguing story - touching on the anxiety, desire and frustration that teenagers feel.
Seeing Charlie taking his mask and showing his true colors, inspiring his classmates to do the same and become idolized by them.

It goes to show, that there are always more layers to us as people than we see by the first look.
If we find a way to communicate our insecurities and stand by them, others might offer help or understanding which we longed for as we saw in the example of Irma Bates.

Of course I'm not condoning Charlies actions but what I do condone is him breaking free of being ruled over by his father, deciding for himself what is right or wrong rather than being told so and accepting it.
