This was not a quick easy read. The author had so much detail, so much going on that it had to be savored. This might have been Balthazar and Erika but it was so much more.

The reader learns more about Devina. I do not like that Demon. I do not like her at all. She is URGH!!!! I just can't go into her ickiness or I will be ranting all day. She doesn't care who she destroys. When her destruction was at its ugliest I cried for someone I did think I ever would.

I finally learned more about Rahvyn. She is a very unique character. She is so lost in this new world. I am looking forward to her in future books. I hope she will be in future books.

Now it is time to listen to the audiobook. I am expecting nothing less than amazing.

Perfect timing! I finished listening to Lover Arisen on release day for Lassiter. Lost of thrills and way more chills as the demon tries to get what she wants. She searches for love in all the wrong places with no respect for human life.

Loved Lassiter in this book. He really showed that he had compassion and didn't always have to egocentric. Now to see what Lassiter gets into in his story.

This was surprisingly good, considering what I rated and reviewed Sahvage and Mae’s book. It still lacked that something that made me like the early books that much.

Lassiter and Rhavyn’s book is going to destroy me, can it come out faster?

I couldn’t get through the first chapter and just haven’t wanted to pick it up again.

As a long time fan of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series we all have books that we love and ones that we don't. We know that no matter what we can always count on JR Ward to write a phenomenal story. Lover Arisen is no different. I will admit I was not a fan of the Fallen Angels series, but I can see how the story lines connect. The worst part of this book? Enemies from the past are back, it seems when the Brothers win the war it comes back with a vengeance. I keep waiting for them to catch a break, but it doesn't seem to happen. As new characters are introduced I always wonder if I am going to like them, but JR Ward never disappoints. I really enjoyed Balthazar and Erika's story and I cannot wait to see what the Warden has in store for us next.

Received ARC in exchange for voluntary honest review.
