Re-read 2021: And so the manga ends! *sighs* I will so miss it! This was a very wonderful conclusion to the story and I was absolutely in tears at the end. I am so proud of Iku for all she does in this volume, from making plans to save the writer, to that telegram... to confessing! She is so strong, but I could see why she broke down in Osaka, I would have done the same. So much stress, no good way to contact colleagues, just hoping that the message has been received.
I am so happy with those last pages and all that is said there. Not just for everyone involved, but also for the censorship and how that ends, about the library, and others.
BTW, that wedding photograph had me laughing HARD. Dojo just looks like he attending some event he DOESN'T want to go to instead of his wedding. :P
I loved the polls and the little extras that came with volume.
All in all, this was a fun re-read! Starting in March, read a volume (or two) a week and now I am done. I loved it! Not too fast and not too slow. :)

-------------------------

And so the main story comes to a close. I can only hope that we will also get the side story manga.

This manga was full of emotion, full of feelings. Yes, I cried, quite a lot of times actually. I also laughed, cheered and was delighted with how the manga ended. Well, for most. Before I want to rave about all the good, I want to say how sad I am that we never got to see that wedding, or anything else in between. Now it feels like our favourite couple said what they wanted to say, and got hitched right away. Yes, there is a time skip, but we don't know when they married. It just feels incomplete. I have looked forward to the romance, to them finally confessing, I have seen the grown together, cheered for them, only to be snubbed at the ending. Yes, there was a confession. Yes, it was fabulous and all that I wanted, but then that time skip happened and suddenly they are married? And all we get to see is that one photo.. BAH. :|

But other than that, this was a fabulous last book in the series, I like how everything got its right ending, how everything turned out to be. I loved what happened to the censorship, the library forces, and all the others that had such a big role in the book. I am delighted for all the characters, for everyone in this world. Yay! Good job everyone who worked so hard to get where they are now.

I also loved Iku's plan to save Mr Toma. It was an amazing plan, a bit reckless, but that fits with Iku completely. I loved how she stayed strong, even when she wanted to just curl up and find out what happened to Atsushi. I just wanted to tell her everything would be all right, that she was almost done. That she will be awesome in what she does.

The art is still truly amazing, and I just love the style. It fits the characters perfectly, and I just love Iku's expressions, she makes the best ones. :D

All in all, I will really miss this series, it was such an amazing ride. Maybe one day I will re-read them all, and this time I won't have to wait until the books come out. This time I can just read them in one go. *cheers*

I would highly recommend this series. It has action, romance, awkward and hilarious situations and much much more.

Final book was good way to finish off the series.

One of those typical-yet-slightly-different series endings. I really enjoyed this, and will visit it again later on.

~4.5/5
(Contains light spoilers.)

Iku finishes her solo mission of getting the author to a safe place. She’s smart, and she’s careful, and she does her best. And when she finally completes it and gets to go back home, she’s too afraid to visit Dojo in the hospital.

She finally builds up the courage after some insisting, and ugh this scene! He has to push her to actually say what she promised she would say, and it’s so sweet. It’s adorable and heartwarming and just everything I wanted it to be. It was perfect.

The ending jumps forward, giving us a glimpse of what happens to them in the future, and it’s sweet. It’s nice to see that everyone is doing okay. Komaki and Marie I like seeing more of, and I’m not surprised by Tezuka and Shibazaki’s status.

There is mention of extra side volumes, and I seriously want those to be licensed extremely badly. I just want more of these characters, and would love to see more released over here. Otherwise, it was a pretty fantastic series and I loved it.

Eep! This series was so amazing and I am so sad it is over. I just want to see more if Iku and Dojo together.

I must say as someone who works at a library it was really interesting to see this alternate world's version of a library and that made me enjoy it even more.

I am whimpering like a little kid because I just don't want it to ever end! I need more like yesterday and I need all the cuteness that is Iku and Dojo <3
