Thank you so much Diamond Book Distributors for sending me a free copy of this graphic novel!

This is definitely a big yes for sci-fi and fantasy fans. The art is pretty good but the plot lacked a few things. Overall it was a pretty good start!

I love superheroes, especially origin stories. I really liked reading about Noble.

Asteroid was about to collide with Earth, so group of astronauts went to destroy it. They weren't suppose to survive. David gained super powers from the explosion, but lost all memories. He is helping people all around the world and running from people who helped to create him. His wife is determined o save him, but it might be too late.

The artwork is amazing, and the story like is good too, maybe too confusing at times. It jumps back and forth so much I was lost at times.

Nonetheless I enjoyed it. :)

I believe that this might have potential, but I'm not entirely sure what to think about it. This first volume was chronologically all over the place which did make it hard to follow and figure out what exactly was going on.

Representation matters.
Lion Forge is doing it up right with their Catalyst Prime superhero universe. I'm a fan.

David Powell used to be an astronaut, but he lost his memory on his last mission and now he is trying to control his new powers and find his past life. Meanwhile, Astrid, David's wife, has found out that David is alive and she is ready to rescue him.

Although it is fast-pacing and the art beautiful, the story is very confusing. At first, I had to push my myself to keep reading. It does get better, but confusing beginnings are not a good idea.

Once I understood a little better what it was happening and I found myself enjoying the story. It has an interesting plot and characters. Also, David and Astrid are black. So yeah, a black superhero and a black agent. And a latina as the villain who is not sexualized or ridiculed, she is actually a very complex and well-developed character.

Noble also discusses immigration and capitalism, which I enjoyed so much. I mean, it's not a hopeful conversation but it's so nice to see it.

However, I'm not very happy about how latinxs are treated in general in the story, especially poor latinxs. They are killed because their lives don't matter, not to the protagonists nor to the bad bad organization. I feel hurt and tired.

Copy received through netgalley in exhange an honest review.

I wanted to this one but it was just so confusing. The artwork was gorgeous but the story itself made it really difficult for me to figure out what was going on. That made me not want to continue and honestly I'm not going to bother trying to read each panel 15 times just to get through this one.
