I really loved this novella. The built up history and tension between our two main characters is top notch and I just love Elsie Silver’s writing.

This was not good… first of all this was such a mid love story - I’ve read a couple of books before that were less than 200 pages and had much more substance than this.
It was also kinda icky to read, the male and female characters had an age gap of 10 years, which is normally fine but he knew her at 10 when he was 20 which is odd - even though there was multiple instances in which “he never viewed her that way until she kissed him at 18” it’s still off putting.
Also every two seconds we were reminded how he’s a 31 year old grown man, and she’s too young and 21, like we get it, the more it’s said the creepier it become
