Of the three books in the series so far, this one was my least favorite. I did enjoy it, but it didn't hit the same as the others. Let's hope that book 4 is the best of them all. That being said, there were still many moments when I couldn't put the book down, whether for the spicy scenes or the engaging plot.

A delightful surprise in the book was the characters playing "sexy" Egyptian Rat Screw, which happens to be my favorite card game. Imagining Hades, the god of the underworld, playing my beloved childhood game was so funny. I know other people know this game but I never have meant anyone who has. This is so unexpected.

This book is a rollercoaster of nonstop action! Hades and Persephone must learn to let go of their past and discover what it takes to work together today, which means no more secrets and no more lies. Persephone delves into her true identity and capabilities, learning to believe in herself and overcome her fears. Fights erupt among the Gods and Goddesses, and even with mortals.

I'm patiently awaiting March 12, 2024, when book 4, 'A Touch of Chaos,' is released. I've already placed it on hold at my library, but I might just have to buy it because I can't wait a second longer. Only 146 days to go!

I’ll be holding my breath till 2023 for the next book, I guess. I just love Hades and Persephone so much, there’s a lot of spice and I loved Persephone starting to become herself! The first half of this book was a little slow with not much action but the second half had my heart racing. I’m glad that Hades and Persephone talked a lot more in this book because the communication issue was my biggest complaint in the second book. It was a little hard to read about Persephone’s trauma but I like the way it was portrayed, it wasn’t just written away like it never happened. And ugh that ending, my poor heart!!
