Life is too short. I could not stand the FMC and she did not show one iota of character growth at 65% in so I’m shelving this for now. I really love Ruby Dixons other work (sci fi and fantasy) so this was a disappointment.
No plot progression and I found the FMC too whiny and helpless

If you love smutty romantasy this is the book for you. The main characters, Candra and Nemeth, were lovable and also infuriating at times. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend this to anyone wanting an accessible romance. The only thing I would complain is that there was maybe a few too many twists and turns. But otherwise I enjoyed this.
