Listen. I saw someone else say they had a hard time imagining Bill as anyone but an old man and I hard agree. The struggle I experienced…
Anywho. This was something. I don’t know why it was ever on my TBR but I’ll certainly never touch it again. The spicy scenes were a little something something though 🔥

This was the most bass-ackwards courtship she'd ever heard of in her life.
Well, the title doesn't lie - this book goes in reverse, filled with filthy dirty dub-con scenes at the start and petering out to more communicating between the leads at the end. The dual POVs help give some context to Bill's skeevy actions and Christina's 'acceptance' of their so-called game of chicken.

Those were her favorites, she found. The stories where the heroine hated her love interest at the beginning. It was oh-so-satisfying to read, but that shit didn't happen in real life.
Is it for everyone? Definitely not. Does it help to read the sample first? Eh...while it certainly starts balls-to-the-wall in HR hell, I don't think it provides enough context for the bulk of the remaining story.
That being said, I quite enjoyed it!
