lol I enjoyed this book, it gives gossip girl. I am not sure on how much of it’s true but it gives a version of how deuxmoi became deuxmoi and the drama behind scenes.

Picked this up out of curiosity. I found it to be all over the place story wise and overall not very interesting. Sorry Deux :(

I’m such a sucker for juicy gossip, but the naming EVERY brand that was worn by the characters (yea yea it paints a picture I get it) and having to read the weird Ollie sex scenes put me off a bit. Would be a 2 but there were 2 moments of slight Harry Styles nods and one where he was outright named so it gets an extra star automatically from me.

I enjoyed this book probably more than I should have lol. It was fun and fast, but I don’t think you’d get it if you don’t follow deuxmoi. Also, it bugged me that they didn’t use a consistent format for texting/DMing throughout the book.

A trifle. Admittedly a little strange to see Deux fictionalize her own life (the smut especially makes you wonder how true it all is), but a solid, pulpy, recreation of a pop cultural phenom. Do think a major plot point is a tad unbelievable. Nobody in the gossip industry would be so oblivious to that possibility.
