This book is so special. It elicits all your emotions from heartbreak to rage to love to joy. I am impressed with Helen Hoang’s writing style and how she can fit so much into this contemporary romance. Not only do you get the romance side, but real life situations are there and I was able to put myself into the situations. I loved being able to see through the character's eyes and how they handled everything that was thrown at them. 

The Own Voices of Autism was respectfully written and I learned so much from reading The Heart Principle. I was so interested that it sparked me to start doing my own research.

If you go into the book expecting something similar to Hoang’s first two novels, you will be surprised by the sudden turn in tone. Yet, the bittersweetness of the book (minus a few cringey moments) makes it a beautiful standalone novel
