2.5. - saw the twist coming but there were enough surprises I was still interested. Short audiobook that is great for a short road-trip. Good to listen with others.

This was not great. The characters are flat, the plot is clunky. There’s none of the lyricism I like in McTiernan’s other books. Glad it was at least short.

This book was just awful. It may have been better as a full length novel, but I’m not sure. There was no character development, and everything felt forced and easily explained away. No one’s motive was clear, and the “big reveal” was a monumental letdown.
