This book was perfection. It reads like poetry but is so visceral and obscene it’s incredible. The main character felt justified yet out of touch, and that’s only the start of the dissonance. Genuinely feels like a descent into fanaticism. I’ll be thinking of this book forever.

I started reading this in line at a pharmacy and did not stop for hours. Weird and captivating, something to read more than once

wtf

some satire on fandom / fangirls / kpop but what a word salad!!!!!! there were definitely some times that the disregard for rules or form paid off and the most miraculous phrase emerged, but it felt like wading through a bog to get there

I decided early on in reading to embrace the weirdness, but what was the purpose?!

the characters are stilted and undeveloped, but the absolute disregard to differentiating fantasy and reality is interesting i guess
