I hated it but I feel like I will think about it for a long time. What the hell was that?!?

I don't even know. I sped read the last 80 pages and I didn't even feel like I missed anything of importance. It just felt excessive and aimless. I just didn't get it and didn't see any purpose throughout the whole thing. Sry

what the fuck did i just read and why did i read the whole thing

I don’t even know how to apply a rating to this book

Great example of beautiful cover, weird insides.

By weird I mean if you find any of this book relatable you need to call a therapist.

We essentially have our MC, a korean American girl who lives in Germany, becoming obsessed with one of the members of a famous K-pop group and then eventually trying to find him as well as writing fanfic about him.

It feels like the opposite of a fanfic in the sense that the writing is actually pretty good and long but the same as a fanfic in the sense that the story is crazy. I thought someone would talk some sense into this girl but every other person is exactly like her.

Every character is very philosophical about the most random of things, which is what makes this book both good and bad.

The good part is it gives us lines like this;
“Every black letter on a white page is a bullet.”
“For love was the act of thinking about a person in an unusual color.”
“The best way to fall out of love, is to realize there exists no love out of which to fall.”

i have so many thoughts but none of them are good
kpop fans have done insane things so this premise was really promising
the way its written feels like its trying too hard to be lit-fic
