I tried a lot to get into the story, the entire story around being a fan was fascinating for me because I like K-pop and I thought it would be interesting to explore this book. It was weird and strange which is something I love in books, the whole book felt like I was tripping and even then I didn't feel like continuing anymore. Love the concept but it could have been more interesting.

I have no idea what I just read.

When I started this book, I thought "this is either a bunch of pretentious drivel, or it's brilliant." Now, at the end, I'm leaning toward the "brilliant" option. Don't ask me why. I can't tell you. But I do know I'll be thinking about this book for years.

A compelling literary psychological thriller about the obsession of k-pop fandom. Uncomfortably accurate while being wildly fantastical and imaginative.

It’s as if April from Parks and Rec wrote a book. I really liked it in the beginning but it slowed down for me a lot towards the second half.
