Manuel witness the shooting of his art teacher and is struggling with anxiety and PTSD. He uses photography and new friendships to cope. There is also a sweet low key first queer love storyline. This is a lovely middle grade graphic novel.

This is a beautifully composed graphic novel about friendship and learning to trust yourself and your friends, but it’s also about PTSD from a school shooting and how a young person can learn to cope. The art is beautiful. Highly recommended.
