Overall I really enjoyed the relationship between Trent and Merry. I really hated Cedric, but honestly I think that was the point. With that being said, I felt like the way Trent and Merry got together was a bit too insta love to be believable, but once they got together I really enjoyed their relationship.
Great story with great characters. Slightly predictable, but overall a fantastic story.

Loved it! I can't believe it's taken me this long, but I'm so glad I read it. I picked it up for a plane ride because you do not want to be crying on the plane. I figured I was safe since it was touted in reviews and by friends as a fun, light read which IT IS, but I was also sobbing on the plane. When they finally declare their love for one another, my heart began to heal. Le sigh. I wouldn't change a thing! Now I finally understand why everyone posts pineapples in regards to this story. :)
This was one of those 'can't get to sleep so lets go on the kindle...'
-5 MINS LATER; 'Oooops I just bought another book' Willpower = Nonexistent
The characters in this book were enjoyable...except Cedric he's a douchecanoe. I mean the part with the puppy was ridiculous; I still can't even. Despite that, I found myself giggling multiple times throughout the whole course of the book. The relationship between Merry & Trent felt real & was super adorable from beginning to end. The feels were definitely flowing & it was lovely. Many moments felt rushed & not fleshed out; especially when Merry unknowingly marries Trent & then later loses her memory randomly, etc. I feel as if this book could've been at least 50 or more pages shorter & still would've been able to tell a decent enough story. I also felt as if the epilogue was unnecessary.
This is a good book to read if you're in between books or going through a reading slump. Fun & fairly easy going but not spectacular.

I really enjoyed this story and the relationship between Merry and Trent. I liked that Merry was American, which brought something different to the story.

I'm pretty sure I like all James' books. I'm not sure this is my favorite. I liked it okay, but there just wasn't quite enough happening. There was no dual story. The entire thing is the love story, with nothing else really going on. The heroine is okay, but incredibly insecure. The hero is fairly bland. I don't know. This is just not my favorite.
