I was curious to see how this would continue the story and expand on the world from Vol 1. I wasn’t disappointed, though I didn’t find it much of an improvement from Vol 1.
The expansion on the characters and their personalities was welcome. I felt like it gave me more solid insight behind their actions. It also added a bit more depth behind the relationships and dynamics, which I always appreciate.
As for the plot I felt like the beginning was rather strong, but fell off slightly and felt rushed halfway through. There were some mysteries I expected to linger longer. It was a bit disappointing when they didn’t.
Outside of that I thought the subtle and overt expansion of the world building was welcome. I’m curious to see how the world expands more in future. While I thought some mysteries ended a bit soon, I still think there’s enough left to keep my interest.

This was definitely a step up from the first volume. Here there is a compelling plot that makes sense of the events of book one and gives some satisfying answers!
Again, I am looking for more from the characters. They have well-established personalities but I want depth and development.

Another quick and good comic book read. I think this one did provide a little more character development, especially in the realm of Jen but I want more. While I love the adventure and funny story I would still love to get to know the characters more.

Still very wholesome, but I didn’t love the plot direction it went in for this issue.
