I like this series. The characters are funny and each unique and offer different sparkle to the group. The friendships/relationships are just so wholesome! Also the mysteries are very intriguing and keep me engaged.

I loved the first volume so much that I didn't expect I could love this series even more, but I do!

I was curious to see how this would continue the story and expand on the world from Vol 1. I wasn’t disappointed, though I didn’t find it much of an improvement from Vol 1.

The expansion on the characters and their personalities was welcome. I felt like it gave me more solid insight behind their actions. It also added a bit more depth behind the relationships and dynamics, which I always appreciate.

As for the plot I felt like the beginning was rather strong, but fell off slightly and felt rushed halfway through. There were some mysteries I expected to linger longer. It was a bit disappointing when they didn’t.

Outside of that I thought the subtle and overt expansion of the world building was welcome. I’m curious to see how the world expands more in future. While I thought some mysteries ended a bit soon, I still think there’s enough left to keep my interest.

This one was even better than the last installment to this series! I still absolutely adore the characters, especially because there is a lesbian relationship that progressed in this book, and it is my everything. You should read this for that reason alone.

The artwork was also absolutely gorgeous, and it was so much fun seeing these characters put into new, dangerous situations but what got them through it was their friendship and their willingness to do anything for one another. While some of it could be seen as a tad bit on the cheesy side, I still really loved it, and this series just makes me so happy. I cannot wait to read the next one!

This graphic novel is very charming and the feeling reminds me of Gravity Falls and Adventure Time combined. I love that each character has a strong individual personality, the amazing diversity, and each lady-type has a talent and that they're all friends! There are a bunch of neat things in this book like how the manual looking the book is, badges, and the lumberjanes even have their own pledge! This book is a ton of fun and a little low on plot. I strongly recommend this graphic novel! ~Ashley
