I really enjoyed the early parts of this book, especially the chapters focusing on Deaf history and culture, both in the United States and around the world. The sports side of things was interesting enough to begin with—who doesn’t love an underdog story?—but Fuller’s game summaries became dull and repetitive by the end.

DNF because library book and it was just very football technicality heavy. Very good and quick paced though just not for me right now.
