ok so I actually really loved this??

while I found Chloe annoying at first, I've really grown attached to all those little gay characters.
this should kinda be mandatory reading for queer high schoolers who feel let down by the world

um also Smith's gender exploration got me gasping and giggling and kicking my feet fr

Nothing warms my heart like a cute queer romance!

Chloe Green is on track to win valedictorian, only one thing stands in her way: her arch-nemesis, prom Queen Shara Wheeler.

But then, one month out from graduation, Shara has the audacity to kiss Chloe and then... vanish. Into thin air.

What should be the final month of hustling before graduation turns into a wild goose chase as Chloe furiously searches for answers to this frankly confounding mystery.

I enjoyed the heck out of this. Largely due to the Bi-representation, but mostly just because of the incredibly sweet and heart-warming moments and friendships shared between the other characters.

The gentle exploration of gender identity and healthy masculinity was so wholesome, I hope that young queer people read this book and feel seen and safe.

Overall though, I didn't looooove the plot. It felt a little underdeveloped and the characters really carried the story imo.

That was sort of ok as the characters were very loveable, but after the highs of Red, White & Royal Blue and One Last Stop, I felt quite disappointed.

Still a fun read though and considering how starved for quality queer content I am, I'll take it!
