When billionaire Archie hires Holly as his professional shopper during the Christmas season, he expects the relationship to remain strictly professional. But after a health scare turns his boss into a family man, Archie needs a fiancée if he wants to be named as the man's successor. Holly is the perfect choice. Not only is she beautiful, clever, and kind, she's raising her precocious five-year-old niece. Instant family. Archie doesn't expect to develop feelings for Holly. He's just like his father—all business. Marriage isn't in the cards for him. Can Holly change his mind?

This book is much more than I expected. Whitney Dineen and Melanie Summers are so great at writing comedy, sometimes I forget how well they write emotion, too. These characters are SO real. Holly is desperately struggling to stay afloat after her mother's dementia and her sister's death forced her to put her dreams on hold. But she soldiers on, making a good life for Faith, her niece, as best she can. It's hard not to sympathize with her situation. Archie has so much chemistry with both Holly and Faith, it's clear he belongs with them. From witty banter to family scenes that tug on your heartstrings, this is a perfect Christmas romance.

Thanks, Booksprout, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Single mom (or more like single aunt) who’s hired as a Christmas personal shopper, grumpy boss, fake dating, and an adorable child : it’s a YES

Mistle Text was the fifth book in the An Accidentally in Love Story series written by Whitney Dineen & Melanie Summers. It was another hilarious story from these two authors. I loved all the witty dialogue between Archibald and Holly. They made the perfect grumpy-sunshine couple! Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. It was the perfect light and flirty holiday book to start off the holidays with.

I received this as an arc for my honest review

This was probably my favorite book in the series. I loved storyline and I’m generally a fan of the fake relationship trope and this was done in a fun and entertaining way. Holly and Archie were complete opposites but as they say opposites attract. I loved the story but especially Faith, she was so cute and funny.

This is a sweet and fun story but the best part of it is the easy banter between Holly and Archie. She’s struggling financially when a friend recommends Holly to her Scrooge-like boss as a personal shopper. The MCs are likeable, BFF Toni is perfect as a snarky foil and even Faith, Holly’s niece, is a great character. A lot of authors put children in their stories but can’t write them properly, but Faith is perfect here. This is an opposites attract slow burn with a holiday HEA that’s worth every minute.

I loved everything about this heartfelt story!
The characters were sweet-especially Holly’s niece Faith. The holiday setting was just the right way to bring together two individuals with very different backgrounds.
I always snap up anything by either of these two authors and when they join forces the results are a perfect satisfying read!

This was a really sweet story and a perfect light read for the holidays. Felt very Hallmark-esque. I laughed and cried and I’ll definitely read others in the series
