I just finished reading Crossroads and although it took me longer to get through it than I would have liked (life just got in the way), it was an addictive read and I couldn’t wait to read what happened next.
Indya is a rich girl from Texas who visits a ranch resort in Montana with her parents every summer growing up. Every summer she sees the same boy, West Haven. As they get older her thoughts about him grow with her. Does he want to play with me? Does he like me? Does he notice me? Does he want to kiss me? Does he have a girlfriend? Years later Indya returns to the ranch as an adult, some news West isn’t going to like, and some secrets. India’s question now is whether the news and her secrets are going to cause West to end up hating her?
It had just the right amount of steam without being too much. It was funny, romantic, and made me cry. Cowboys, Childhood Sweethearts, Second Chances, Rich girl/Poor boy, forced Proximity, secrets, this book has so much.
I can’t wait to read book 2 in the series. I would highly recommend this book to the romance lovers.

This was my first Devney Perry book but it for sure won’t be my last. I pretty much couldn’t put this one down.
This was such a beautiful second chance romance set on a family owned ranch in small town Montana. The dual timeline was done so well and in a way that didn’t take away from the present day storyline but truly helped develop the characters and my emotional connection to their story. I actually really looked forward to the flashbacks which isn’t always the case for me.
Loved Indya and West and getting to see the evolution of their relationship. I felt all the emotions as I read this one and that’s my favorite type of reading experience.
Excited for the next book in the series!!
4.5/5⭐️

I'm entering my Cowboy romance era and I'm not mad about it! Something about a man in tight jeans, boots and a hat is just so aesthetically pleasing.
Indya spent her summers at a ranch in Montana since childhood with her family. There she became friends with the ranch owner's son, West. Every year, for one week, they spent time together and when they got older these friends turned into some more. He was her first love but when life got in the way, they were torn apart and went their separate ways.
Years later, Indya returns to the ranch, now as the owner. She must come face to face with West after all these years and as they learn to work with each other, they also can't fight the attraction they have always had for each other. When they fall into old habits, can Indya keep things easy or will they break each other all over again?
This was a quick and easy cowboy read. It didn't get super deep but there was still sustenance and minor roadblocks. It was angsty and felt real. What is the equivalent for a beach read for cowboys, and ranch read? Let's make it happen this summer!

Devney Perry has become an auto buy author for me after finishing this book. I devoured this in one sitting and was crying the entire time. Her writing is beautiful, easy to follow and understand, and will tug at your heartstrings. She gives just the right amount of information to keep you reading and hungry for the big reveal in the end.
I love Indya so much especially her love for her father and how unselfish she was especially when it came to West.
I've always loved second chance romance and Indya's and West case has been one of right love at the wrong time. I really liked it but I just wished DP could have made it longer because I wanted a stronger build up of their romance in the present.
