I’m going to be honest, this was torture to finish. I was bored, the dialogue felt lacking.

What sent me over the edge was him “roaring” her name during s*x. What kind of wattpad writing was this?

After loving Shield of Sparrows, I wanted to explore some of Devney Perry’s other work. Crossroads was recommended to me by a friend!

I really loved this story! Heartbreaking, emotional, sexy… And Connor Crais as a narrator 🥵😮‍💨

Second chance romance has snuck up my list of favorite romance tropes because of books like this one!

Hoooo boy this book!! I listened to the audiobook while on a road trip and it was amazing!! Once again, Devney Perry knocked it out of the park!! This story was heart tugging, compelling, and oh so emotional!! I wanted to change course and drive to Montana and find my own cowboy! Indya’s drive and passion to make the ranch new again was so inspiring and I loved seeing her love for the land come through. And West was so most swoon worthy MMC! The dual timelines was a bit tough to follow, but the audiobook made it easier! And the side characters were so wonderful!! I cannot wait to be able to go back to Haven River Ranch!!

I love Devney Perry. This is a solid start to the series. Not sure the flashbacks added much but I don’t love a dual timeline story. They’re forgiven because they were short.
