Ona nemůže vidět vraha, vrah ale může vidět ji. Nezaujalo vás to?

I honestly loved this one so much more than I expected; the main girl was a disabled POC and there was even a wlw side character, so this book already gets points for diversity! However, that aside, this novel was amazing on the whole. I found the two main characters to be really intriguing and was often rooting for them during all the craziness that went down. It was also incredibly fast paced, which is just the type of read I was craving, and I really adored how everything came together at the end. (Until that big plot twist of course!)

This was ok-ish but seemed not very realistic. And I HATED the end, HATED it!

this was unnecessary long and also one of the most annoying plots i’ve ever read. so many plot holes and foolishness. 2 ⭐️ for me for finishing it.

first of all, why does Naomi keep opening the door despite knowing that she is in danger?!
when a killer is on the loose, opening doors can be risky for a woman who can see so what about someone who can’t? i think this was very stupid on her part.
the entire Josie-taking-her-to-woods part happened because of her naivety which led to that whole Josie harassing her 🤦🏻‍♀️ her character was getting on my nerves. honestly, i wouldn’t have minded in other circumstances, but the fact that she was doing all this to get the attention and love of a man who doesn’t really care about her was infuriating. i hate such jealousy tropes where they never blame the guy but are all ready to kill the other woman. they hurt the other woman and take back the man who cheated on them! as Naomi said, “I pity you for wanting someone who clearly doesn’t give a damn about you.”

i didn’t like the characters either. only Marcus was likeable, but even he eventually began acting stupid. He repeatedly promised to protect her, but instead left her vulnerable. 🤦🏻‍♀️

and the ending, from the beginning there was one thing i kept saying in my head –
"i would be very mad if the killer turned out to be Dane because it is so obvious" –
welllll 🙂 looks like i should go get mad!!

the only thing i liked about this book is that it ended.

Jack Jordan’s descriptive and detailed writing style has a way of immersing the reader into the story and really putting you in the position of the characters.
Although unrealistic at times, the story had multiple plot twists and shocks all throughout the book - not just at the end like many thrillers!
On this occasion, I actually enjoyed the first half of the book more than the second half. That being said, I very much enjoyed this book and found myself rooting for the characters and making my own guesses.

I think.. I'm going to be forever scared by this book. The ending.. I- My trust in people have plummeted lower than it already was..

I have so much to say but I'm honestly overwhelmed right now..
