Grateful to read this

Great collection of essays and thoughts. I love how emotional and analytical she was, and her vision of poetry. The last essays were a bit repetitive but the message is amazing, really.

Really gorgeous and important words from Audre Lorde. A great into for those unfamiliar with her work. Lots of food for thought.

there were points at which this collection became repetitive but overall it was insightful and necessary, taking lorde’s intersectional identities as a focal point for reminding the reader and her communities that the real oppressor is the capitalistic racist cishet patriarchy and that cannot be efficiently targeted without ensuring that any movement for progress is inclusive
