WOW WOW WOW, this book had me absolutely sobbing toward the end. If there’s one thing Rebecca knows how to do, it’s writing heartbreaking beautiful love stories. Everything in this book was just absolutely incredible, the timelines, the plot, the characters, the love stories. It was all so beautifully written, and then the plot twist. Something that is hard to get right into romance books but Rebecca knows how to hit you right in your heart. This book absolutely deserved all the love it gets.

This has been at the top of my TBR for MONTHS and I finally have read it. Thank god thank GOD I did so because it ripped my heart out. I laughed i gasped i bit my fingers i cried i felt empty inside. Rebecca Yarros also wrote fourth wing but this is nothing like it, its BETTER (in a different way)

This book has everything, drama, love, plot twists, action, sex. I read it so fast. I wouldn’t say this book destroyed me but I could see how it may have for other people. Thought I was gunna hate this book from the first 3 chapters and I’m so glad I stuck it out because it was great.

She loves the word shatter

Warning: Do not listen to or read this book while you are at work. The tear-jerking ending will make any meetings where you have to be on camera impossible. If you do, tell them you have really bad allergies.

Even when dragons aren't involved, Rebecca Yarros can spin an incredible tale of love, loss, and suspense like no other. She is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors of all time. This story was fantastic from beginning to end.
