This book holds true to Jennifer Nielson’s work. Just when you think things are settling, more adventure unfolds. This book Raugh of heroism and courage in many forms, but ultimately friendship helps to survive even in the most dangerous of times.

The main character, in my opinion, felt annoying to be in the mind of. I love this author, but this just wasn’t one of her good books. To top it off, the book is very slow. I only liked Hazel’s friend, Charlie.
