“From blood and ash, we have risen.”

I really have no notes. STUNNING!!!!! This is my favorite out of this series so far! This book demanded my full attention. I was savoring each chapter!

The fucking details in this series are enough to give you a headache, in the best way possible! I don’t know how Jennifer Armentrout keeps her stories straight, but, everything is coming together so beautifully!

There is not one stagnant character in this book. Everyone goes through some sort of character development, not just the FMC! “Found family” is one of my favorite tropes, and the way JH had these characters growing on you was so subtle that you often didn’t realize it happened, until it did!

Chapter 44 & 45… Are you joking? I was kicking my feet

I genuinely loved this book. I absolutely BINGED the first 3 leading up the release. From the early reviews I was very worried, but I appreciated where it went. I thought the way Casteel, Kieran, and Poppy's relationship progressed was intriguing to read and kept me going while one of my favorite characters was imprisoned for hundreds of pages. I'm sure at this point we all expected to learn ANOTHER new thing about Poppy's identity at the end of this book and she may be getting a little overpowered, but the way I see it is her enemies are only getting stronger as well. I was happy to see that in the next book, the big bad will shift. I cannot wait to see where this goes.
