5/5 ⭐ At first I wasn't sure I would like the book, but I really got into it with every new page. I tried to guess the outcome a few times, but the book still shocked me which was a pleasant surprise. After reading so many thrillers I've gotten pretty good in figuring out the ending so I'm always overjoyed when something catches me off-guard. It's a really good thriller. The characters had just enough mystery to them to make it interesting yet not frustrating. The main character, Quincy, was likable if not a bit flavorless, but she really grew on me, and I definitely grew to cheer for her in the end. I would definitely recommend it to other thriller fanatics. I think I liked the book a bit less than Survive the Night, but this book definitely proved to me that I should read some more from Riley Sager in the future.

3.5 stars. The book was good and the narrator was great on the audiobook but it feel a little bit short for me. I didn’t really like any of the characters and actually hated one. The fact she kept calling Quincy “babe” was very annoying lol. Overall it was pretty entertaining.

The whole story was slow and didn't really capture my interest. It wasn't really what I was expecting nothing truly happens till the last 10% and the big plot twist I felt was somewhat predictable.
This is my second riley sager book and I had hoped for more, the ending was good but it doesn't make up for how boring 90% of the book was.
Maybe I'll give Sager one more try another time

Riveting. Drags you thru the plot relentlessly.

book #5 for the owls magical readathon 2020!

I dont think I liked the twist at the end, but I am still deciding. It definitely drew me in from the start. Excited to read some other Riley Sager novels.

Man... I was so excited to five into this author and had such high expectations. It was good, but just fell short for me. A slow build and almost boring at times build with a crazy twist of an ending. I like twists! Especially when I don't seem them coming, which I didn't here- and maybe I should have? Anyways, the twist felt very anti-climactic and I just kid of felt underwhelmed by the whole thing, like "Oh..? That's it?...Kayyyy".
